On the Go Momma

Here we go....I'm not sure where to start but I thought this would be a great place to share some of the wonderful things I have learned recently as well as a few fun stories here and there!  Lets just say I am not the kind of girl that writes stories or letters or anything for that matter (I'm pretty sure English was my least favorite and worst subject in college) and here we are...so be kind when you comment on my posts :)

I think for my first post I will give you a little background about why I am spending my Friday night writing a blog (aside from avoiding that pile of laundry that needs to be put away)!

I am a working, on-the-go momma who thoroughly enjoys being crafty and most recently have learned how to make lots of my household products with few ingredients and without all the chemicals you find in store bought items.  I am always looking for things to save money and make our family better.  I want to share with you these things, not because they are my original ideas, but because I am just sooo excited about the changes being made in our home.  Oh and did I mention my obsession with crocheting?!?  My kiddos call it yarnin'...which is funny because my friend's little also calls it yarnin'!

And....

This month has marked a milestone in my household...my little man went to Kindergarten :(.  This has been a huge change for me...I have worked since both of my babes have been born, but now it feels so strange that I drop them both off at the school each day.  Little man asks almost every night "Who's watching me tomorrow?"  just like he always has and now the answer is "You go to school!"  He loves school by the way (of course I cried like a baby on the first day)  I mean what kind of momma doesn't feel sad, concerned and fifteen other emotions on the first day of school?

My oldest is going to be 8 in four months...EIGHT!!!  I can't believe it!  I feel like time is flying by me and I am going to forget all the wonderfully hilarious things they are doing and saying each day.

Hence a blog about me and my sometimes homemade and sometimes not so homemade life!  No matter what... it is sure to entertain (I think!)
